Arthik ("the App") is a personal financial planning application. This privacy policy explains how your information is handled when you use the App.
All data you enter into Arthik — including financial figures, goals, investments, and personal details like age — is stored exclusively on your device's local storage. The App does not use any cloud services, remote servers, or online databases.
Arthik does not collect:
The App uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature usage. This helps us understand how the App is used and improve it. Firebase Analytics does not collect your financial data or any information you enter into the App. You can learn more about Firebase's data practices at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Arthik uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver push notifications such as new feature announcements and engagement reminders. To enable this, a device token is generated and stored by Google's Firebase service. This token does not contain any personal or financial information. You can disable notifications at any time from the App's Settings or your device's notification settings.
Arthik also schedules local notifications (weekly check-ins, goal alerts, monthly reviews, and inactivity reminders) using on-device scheduling. These are processed entirely on your device and do not send any data externally.
Arthik provides a data export feature that saves your data as an encrypted file to a location you choose on your device. This export is initiated entirely by you and the file remains on your device. The App does not transmit this file anywhere.
Arthik supports biometric authentication (fingerprint, face recognition, or device PIN) to protect access to the App. Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system. Arthik does not access, store, or transmit biometric data.

Your financial data is protected by your device's built-in security features including device encryption and the biometric/PIN lock within the App. Data exports are encrypted with AES-256 using a password you set. The limited data sent to Firebase services (analytics events, crash reports, notification tokens) is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
Arthik is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by:
